Data within For-Sight

Learn how to make best use of your customer or agency data and what we are able to do with it.

StubCan For-Sight feed directly from my own current databases?

Not at the moment. The PMS outputs a file which Forth can pick up. However needs are driven on a client by client basis. It is only something we will deliver if the desire is there and it is financially viable.

StubWhat PMS systems does this work with?

Currently we have experience of working with the following:

  • Opera
  • Rezlynx
  • Springer Miller
  • Brilliant

We will work with you to make sure we are getting the correct data from the PMS, whether or not it is in the list above.

StubWhat cleansing and enhancing do you do on the data?

We do the following cleaning:

  • Check file structure and layout complies with what is expected
  • Deduplication either by ID or contact details
  • Email address structure validation
  • UK PAF matching
  • Identify poor mailing addresses and undeliverables
  • Identify mobile number
  • Country checking and appending
  • Case conversion
  • Deaths, Goneaways and Change of Address screening (we have deals with Experian & Equifax)

StubWhat geo-demographic systems do you work with?

Experian Mosaic and CACI Acorn so far but the system can accept others if needed. They currently link on the UK postcode and the codes are appended in real-time.

StubCan I use this for other areas of business e.g. weddings, conferences etc?

Yes, we can accept different transaction types. Conference and Event data is currently in development.

New builds may range from straightforward more-or-less clones of existing systems (e.g. a new Opera system) through to complex brand new systems, requiring definition of new standard configurations.

Email within For-Sight

StubHow does For-Sight broadcast emails and surveys to my customers? Do the results then update the data?

For-Sight sends the data straight into For-Email by way of a linked API. The campaign results and Do Not Email flags then feedback directly into For-Sight through the same method. However Survey results e.g. list of interests are not automatically fed back into the data.

StubIs For-Email an in-house or a 3rd Party product?

It is a third party, UK based product. Our resources were better employed developing For-Sight then trying to compete with established providers in an already crowded marketplace. The two systems are linked with an API to allow data to move between the two, meaning campaign results can be linked directly to revenue generated.

StubHow much does For-Sight cost?

Prices start at £495 per month for the standard product, which increases depending on the size of product required. We currently have installations running of all shapes and sizes - from 20,000 customers to 2,000,000. Variations as per our website can be found here.

StubWhat support and training is available?

Depending on the level of product we offer:

  • Full supporting documentation
  • Face to face or web delivered training
  • Dedicated Account Manager and Data Manager
  • Email, web and phone support line
  • Managed service to get the best out of your data

StubHow secure is the system and my data?

The system is SSL encrypted and access is by unique username and password only. It can also be locked down to specified IP addresses. All user activity is logged and available for inspection. Access rights can be configured on a user by user basis.

Forth have the ISO27001 accreditation and our ISP also falls under that banner. The system has been configured based on those requirements.

We will also work with clients to install the system on an internal client webserver if that is desired.

Reporting within For-Sight

Raw data can only go so far to explain trends. That is why For-Sight has reporting functionality built in to help you in your future business decisions.

StubCan I define the columns I want to include in my reports?

Only in the first column of reporting based on the contents in the client dataset. Currently, the system provides a limited set of reports aimed at presenting the most frequently required information. However, the user can export the data from the system into Excel which will enable more bespoke reporting to be executed.

StubCan you link to Social Network data?

We can accept any data feed that can match into an existing customer record (either by contact detail matching or a unique ID).

We are also in discussion with several providers of social networking expertise to bolster this side of the product - Facebook, Twitter, Tripadvisor etc.
